"Basic Lessons About Investing

• In order to invest you must have money. If you spend all the money you earn, then even if you discover a good investment opportunity, you couldn't invest because your investment funds are gone.

• A good rule of investing is to pay yourself first and create some savings.

• Calculate your expected rate of return before you start to invest.

• If the interest rate of your current debts is greater than your expected return on your investment, then you should pay your current debts off before investing."
